This rapid immunochromatographic assay is a reliable tool for quickly detecting the NS1 antigen of the Dengue virus. It is designed to assist in the diagnosis of Dengue infections using samples of human whole blood, serum, or plasma.
Assay Procedure: COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kit
This guide outlines the steps for using the COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kit. Please read these instructions carefully before beginning the test. For best results, allow all reagents to sit at room temperature (10-30°C) for 30 minutes before use.
1. Specimen Collection
- Carefully insert the swab into the patient’s nostril until it reaches the posterior nasopharynx, where the most secretion is visible.
- Gently swab the surface of the posterior nasopharynx, rotating the swab several times to collect the specimen.
- Slowly remove the swab from the nasal cavity.
2. Sample Preparation
- Place the sample diluent tube securely in the provided rack.
- Unscrew the purple cap of the diluent tube and insert the collected swab into the tube, which contains 0.5 mL of diluent buffer.
- Press the swab head against the bottom and side of the tube while rolling it at least 6 times to mix the sample thoroughly.
- Leave the swab in the tube for one minute.
- Squeeze the tube multiple times from the outside to fully immerse the swab head, then remove the swab and close the cap. The liquid is now your test sample.
3. Test Procedure
- Remove the test strip from its sealed bag. Mark the sample ID on the strip and place it on a flat surface.
- Unscrew the small cap on the top of the sample dilution tube.
- Add 3-4 drops (approximately 100 μL) of the prepared test sample into the sample well of the strip.
- Let the test strip develop for 10-15 minutes at room temperature. The results can be read visually after this time.
