Test Principle
Monkeypox is a zoonotic infectious disease with symptoms similar to smallpox, but generally milder. The disease typically involves a 12-day incubation period, followed by fever, headache, and muscle pain. Papules and skin lesions appear a few days later, scabbing and falling off within 2-4 weeks.
This kit uses fluorescent PCR technology. It employs specific primers and Taqman probes to detect Monkeypox virus nucleic acid on a fluorescent PCR instrument. An internal control system is included to monitor sample collection and the extraction process, ensuring the reliability of the results.
